ABOUT

From humble beginnings

It began with Emmy award-winning entertainment executive and mentor, Angelica Rosas McDaniel. The child of a Mexican immigrant, Angelica grew up in Minnesota, far from California’s entertainment and tech industries. With no connections or opportunities handed to her, she relied on an unyielding work ethic to get a seat at the table.

She knows what it’s like to navigate lack of representation, microaggressions, double standards and unconscious bias in the workplace.  And what it’s like to be the only woman and only person of color in the room.

Now she’s on a mission to help other ambitious women of color from humble beginnings get a seat at the table or create their own.

THE MISSION

Match 100,000 ambitious women of color in media and tech with female leaders through mentorship.

Lifting up the next generation of women

We believe it’s our responsibility as successful women to raise it forward and share our positions of power with ambitious women of color starting their careers who don’t have access to female leaders.

To lift up the next generation because when one woman rises, we all rise — and mentorship is the answer to up-levelling the collective.
